Erosion of all bridges |
Electrical tests performed on test machines or on switchgear (IEC 947 standard) confirm the excellent resistanceagainst erosion and the low welding tendency of AgSnO2 as compared with AgCdO. Temperature rise is similar.
The advantages of AgSnO2 are even more significant for capacitive application or for direct current.
Applications
Application field
Any type of switchgear requiring breaking capacity in AC or DC at 10 to 1 000 A and 24 to 600 V.
This material is recommended for its low welding tendency and for its resistance stability when subjected to intense make and break cycles.
Switchgear type
- Relays
- Contactors
- Engine starters
- Breakers
Uses
- Industrial automatisms
- Transport : cars, railways
- Lifts, forklift trucks
- Regulating devices, thermostats
Others conditions
We manufacture according to customer specification.
The radius, spherical shapes, tip thickness and brazing characteristics are defined in cooperation with the customer.
