Metalor's actions

  • METALOR is participating and recommends everybody's participation in the European project ELECSUS. The project group is involved in fundamental investigations and developments of environmentally safer and recyclable materials, e.g. replacement of Cd compounds in switching devices.
  • In several publications,METALOR presents alternative solutions for the replacement of AgCdO by other metal oxides.

Replacement solutions

METALOR can propose the replacement of AgCdO by other materials.

In most cases, depending on use, AgCdO could be advantageously replaced by AgSnO2, in other cases by AgZnO or AgFe2O3.
