Sputtering Targets
Targets and Technics is a bifurcated department specialized in precious metal components for industrial applications.
One side of the business is the products for surface treatments, PVD-deposited thin films. PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. Main products are the targets for sputtering process, and slugs and wires for evaporation. High purity materials you need for your very high-tech applications are provided: gold and silver 4N and 5N (99.99% and 99.999% purity respectively), platinum and palladium 3N5 and 4N (99.95% and 99.99% respectively).
Customers are active in the optical data storage (CD-R, DVD-R...), in the microelectronic market to coat multi-layers on wafers, and in wear and decorative coatings, from the colour film on jewels to the conductive layers for sample preparation.
The second area deals with sliding contacts for captors, micro-motors and potentiometers. METALOR specialize in bi- and tri-metal strips. Plasma welding to bond copper based material to palladium-based precious metal band is used. In addition, these materials are supplied in wires.
Customers are suppliers of the automotive and micro-technics industry.
