TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 100%

To work within the Group Corporate Services Team, based in Neuchâtel. This is a global position which needs to provide consistent curriculum globally that addresses the training needs for all professional and managerial positions. This function works closely with local HR managers to deploy global training & development programs locally.

Responsabilities:

- Update, follow-up and elaborate the training and development strategy and policy
- Identify the training & development needs for Metalor’s professional and managerial employees
- Coordinate, develop and put in place training programs as per the company’s needs and in close cooperation with senior management
- Search for, identify and validate consultants, training companies and institutions that offer a global service
- Management and active participation in competency development, follow-up of evaluations/appraisals, talent management
- Accompany managers in the follow-up of trainings in how to transfer knowledge, give advice and support managers in day-to-day key-employee development
- Be the key user and accredited person for the psychometric tool Insights Discovery® (plan Insights training, plan accreditations, organize the tests, interpret the results and give feed-back)
- Organize team-building exercises, workshops and other meetings that may need a facilitator
- Active participation in the development of strategic change programs e.g. health & safety methodology S.T.O.P, lean and Six Sigma, QRQC methodology, etc…

Your profile:

- Commercial University degree
- Training certificate
- At least 6 years work experience in a similar position
- International experience
- Fluency in English and French, German in a plus
- Very good software skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Independent and proactive
- Adaptability
- Good communication skills
- Availability to travel in case of overseas projects (up to 20%).

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

This position will support the CEO in internal communication and occasionally external communication. The mission for the Communications Manager will be to ensure that key messages and change programs are communicated in a consistent manner in the organization, and to provide tools and act as the reference person for communication between management and employees.

Responsabilities:

• Management and responsibility (together with IT and senior management) for the intranet content
• Provide standard communication packages for the Executive Committee regarding company results and change programs to be used by managers
• Management of regular global employee communication updates regarding the company (quarterly briefing) by collecting new items from all key managers, including news items from employees
• Support key change programs by providing professional communication packages for managers to be used with employees
• Organize annual employee surveys (with VP HR) and ensure communication of the results, set up sensing sessions with the employees and prepare the communication of corrective actions

• Writes and/or edits internal and external communication documents, publications, announcements, press releases and presentation material
• Develops content for information brochures, reviews and edit drafts of correspondence, reports and brochures for mass distribution, drafts articles and reports on the status of major initiatives
• Assures that all materials developed are factually and technically accurate
• Develops relations with the media and serves as the company’s media contact
• Works with senior management on development of comprehensive communications/marketing plan for the different divisions

Your profile:

• University degree in marketing, business, communications or related field
• At least 5 years work experience in a similar position (ideally in the industrial or public sector)
• Professional level skills in publications development with writing and editing experience
• Interpersonal relations skills in order to determine the most effective presentation and communication
• Fluency in English and French, German is a plus
• Very good software skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Responsible and independent
• Strong communication and influencing skills

VOUS:

- Execution of the audit plan and leading risk-based audit assignments (subsidiaries, processes) to independently and objectively assess and help improve internal control system through recommendations. This includes:

• Planning of audit assignments (risk assessment) and writing of work programs;
• Execution of the audit assignment (fieldwork): Test of internal controls design and operating effectiveness, make sure that the audit procedures are properly documented;

Your profile:

- Master’s degree in Finance or Economics (an MBA or professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA is an asset);
- 4 to 5 years of experience as external auditor in a big 4. Experience in audit project management as Experienced Senior (coaching of audit team members);
- Audit experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment (Precious Metals industry and/or banking sector is an asset);
- Good financial knowledge as well as an excellent understanding of business processes and audit risks (knowledge of IFRS is a plus);
- Knowledge of main internal control frameworks;
- Strong writing skills for audit reports and narratives of procedures;
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Basic and/or good knowledge of French (Spanish, Japanese or Chinese are an asset);
- Proactive, persevering and curious person who likes to work in a multicultural environment and at ease in a matrix organization;
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and listening skills and able to promote new ideas effectively;

· Maintaining a fully hedged book on all metals. This includes, but is not limited to: Purchasing and selling, discounting metals and booking the transactions and working with Accounting & Finance Team members to ensure accuracy

We are currently searching for a Technical Sales Engineer for our Advanced Coatings Division. As an integral part of our Americas sales team, the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical service for the Metalor Chemicals business including the development of new proprietary processes allied to the precious metal and some base metal, electroplating market.

The essential functions of this position include, but not limited to:

Helping bring the following products/processes to market in a timely fashion:
- Competitive high speed and regular speed acid gold processes.
- Competitive pure gold processes.
- Competitive high speed palladium and palladium alloy processes.
- Competitive high speed silver processes for semi-conductor and bright silver processes for decorative applications.
- Other processes that may be required as an ongoing process.
Providing technical assistance as and when appropriate for installations.
Providing technical service at key customer accounts as and when appropriate.
Performing regular analysis and troubleshooting experimentation at customers’ request producing results in a timely fashion.
Providing training as appropriate for junior staff.
Generating technical papers for publication and/or presentation at society meetings.
Generating monthly activities and projects controls.

Education & Knowledge
